About
the characters: The orphan gang vs. Concrete
Loonies
The
orphan gang:
My
name is ALICE ROSEBUD. For 30 years, I provided
a home for hundreds of orphans, and found foster parents for all
of them. I now have five left. After that, I am planning to retire.
All these years, I remained unmarried, because my heart still belongs
to Jimjim.
This
is my JIMJIM. He went missing at sea 30 years ago.
Everyday I hope to see him again, one fine day.

TRISH is
more the quiet type. But her actions are smart and efficient.
She has an extraordinary pet: a loyal and helpful hermin, by the
name of MINKY.
GRI-GRI
is the hardboiled one. She is a first class tom cat, with no fears
to get her hands dirty. She’s the biggest optimist you’ve
ever met.
SHARP
is the technician of the five. A computer freak who can’t
sit still. So thank God for laptops !

VIC
is the adventurer of the orphan gang. Too often, he thinks he’s
a super hero.
Whenever he goes out rescueing somebody, he needs to be rescued
himself.
JAYJAY
is hardly three years old, but a fast learner. He picks up some
of the talents of his fellow orphans.

| BRUNO
is the dog of the house. And in a way, the man of the house.
He drives the car, cleans the house, cooks diner... In a philosophical
mood, he often wonders if he’s not over-trained as a dog.
And oh yes, he is deeply in love with Praline the poodle... |
PRALINE
is Hari Vallalkozo’s dog, and Bruno’s sweetheart.
But she lives on the 100th floor, in Vallalkozo’s office.
Is this puppy love not meant to be ? |
