About the flashbacks...

Thirty years ago, Alice lost her beloved boyfriend Jimjim (full name Jeremy Jameson). In the very first pages of the first episode, we see how he and his ‘Friends Of The Oceans’ protest against a polluting oilcargo, cleaning its tanks at open sea. Jimjim climbs onto the ship, and gets thrown off. His body was never found...

Alice would never fall in love again. Since that day, she has devoted her life to bringing up orphans in her parental home, and finding parents for them. These five orphans are her final ones, as she is looking forward to retirement. But she doesn’t seem to be able to find foster parents for these rascals...

The flashbacks play an important role in the series. Episode after episode you will wonder whether Alice will ever see Jimjim again. Episode by episode the flashbacks go back into the loving couple’s history, to give more clues...
